Melkam Yelidet Beaal!

Melkam Yelidet Beaal!!!!
(Merry Christmas!)
Today is Christmas in Ethiopia. Click on the image below to learn more about Christmas traditions in Ethiopia.
We happened to be in Ethiopia on a religious holiday - there were many priests and people gathered around a very large church in Addis. There were people dressed traditional clothes and carrying fringed umbrellas similar to the ones in this Christmas day picture. We still have so much to learn about our daughter's culture and country...we can't wait to learn together (with Grace) and visit Ethiopia again with an even better understanding of their culture and traditions.

  1. Wish you guys were here to go to dinner with us too!!

She looks so cute in her outfit. I think I might let our kiddos dress in the Ethiopian clothes we brought home. :)
