"Sometimes I'd like to ask God why He allows poverty, famine, and injustice in the world when He could do something about it...but I'm afraid God might ask me the same question." -Anonymous
We've been blessed with the addition of our four year old daughter from Ethiopia. We fell in love with Ethiopia and want to honor the gift of our daughter by continuing to embrace her amazing homeland. Join us on our journey as we become a family of six through international adoption and as we work to support the beautiful country of Ethiopia.
We made it home! We were so excited to see so many family and friends at the airport. Grace Hiwot was a little overwhelmed, but after a night at home, she is doing great! She is truly a little doll! We had an amazing trip - I promise to update soon!
Oh, I have tears in my eyes! She looks so joyful - you all do! I've been checking your blog, waiting for an update! Glad you're home. Can't wait to get all the details!
I clicked on your blog from Bonnie's--we traveled to Ethiopia at the same time to get our girls. Your daughter looks SO much like ours! In this picture, that smile is eerily similar to Emebet's. Anyway, congratulations. Hope your transition goes smoothly.
