How much $$$ did we raise????? Drum roll please....

We are so honored to be a small part of the wonderful work that is being done in Dube Bute, Ethiopia to bring clean water, education and health care to the region. Dube Bute is near the region of Ethiopia that Grace is from. It is so awesome to watch as adoptive families, like the Alexanders, continue to make a difference in the lives of those living in Ethiopia long after they bring their beautiful children home. We are so pleased to have been able to donate funds toward their project (with Glimmer of Hope) through the sale of our bottle cap necklaces and key chains. How much did we raise...Are you ready for the drum roll?????.....thanks to many of you, we have been able to raise $1075.00 to donate to Hope for Dube Bute!!! Thank you to all of you who have purchased necklaces and key chains. After adopting this year, we never would have been able to donate this much money, but this proves that we can still all do something to help out. I am sure many of you have a crafty side, the ability to host a fundraising event, or some other little talent that you can use to raise money to help the beautiful people of Ethiopia. After traveling to Ethiopia, I am even more sure of what Proverbs 24:12 says
"...once our eyes are opened, we can't pretend we don't know what to do. God, who weighs our hearts and keeps our souls, knows that we know, and holds us responsible to act."
You can still make a donation to Hope for Dube Bute. What an easy last minute Christmas gift :) Just visit Glimmer of Hope's website.
Check out the video below to see more about the work that will be done in Dube Bute. You may even be encouraged to step up and do a little something to help...what an amazing project!
